Wavelength Hotel | Whale Watching

Mirissa is a great place to go whale watching. The whale watching season in Mirissa runs from November to April, but for your best chance to see a whale you have to visit in March or April. There are many tour companies that offer whale and dolphin watching tours. If you are lucky you can get to see many different types of whales and dolphins like Blue whales, Bryde’s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales and Orca’s have all been spotted along the coast of Mirissa.

We enjoyed our stay at Wavelength. The pool and facilities were excellent. Breakfast is superb and plentiful. All the staff were attentive and polite. The rooms are sufficient, clean and comfortable, with toiletries provided. Just a short 200 metre walk from the beach and restaurant bars it is ideally located.
